Support for Animal Lovers
The love we have for our pets is real, and so is the pain of losing them or seeing them suffer. It's natural to experience a range of emotions, from sadness and anger to guilt and confusion. These feelings are valid, and it's important to allow yourself time to grieve and heal. I can provide guidance and support as you navigate these challenging experiences.

Therapy & Support
Therapy is a great place to process thoughts and feelings related to animal care. There are so many life events related to animal care. It can be as significant as making the decision to stop treatment and to process a loss. It can also be exciting events like deciding when to bring a new animal into the family. There are also the challenges of managing animal illnesses, like administering medicine to a cat. Therapy can offer a safe setting for you to make decisions and to accept what cannot be changed.
My Experience with Pets
I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, having initially cared for crayfish, toads, frogs, & gerbils. As a teenager, we had Sherman the beagle and I used to pet sit the other animals in the neighborhood, too. Flash forward, we now have Strider the Goldendoodle.
I know what it is like to love, to care for, to say goodbye, and to lose a beloved and special animal.
